CNC Training Software - Win NC

Emco offer site license software for industrial control systems, Fanuc, Siemens, and Heidenhain, all with optional 3D Simulation, enabling students to learn CNC part programming and setting in a classroom environment. Students get 'hands on' experience in all features of modern CNC control systems.

CNC Machines

Emco offer CNC training machines from small desktop models to large powerful floor standing models, all supplied with the unique feature of interchangeable control software, so with one CNC machine you can teach Fanuc, Siemens, and Heidenhain. Machines are available with features such as Live tooling, C-Axis, 4th Axis, Bar feeds, Automation, etc., so students can quickly become competent in programming and setting today's modern CNC machine tools.

Teaching Software

TrainConcept
Multimedia software for teaching the skills required for chip removal, turning, milling, quality control, IT, CNC technology and programming, and the feature of CNC simulation. Ideal for GCSE Engineering and can be used as part of Edexcel, progression awards, etc.

Win Tutorial
Multimedia software which sets the project of manufacturing a single cylinder 4 stroke engine using Emco 105 & 155 range of CNC machines. Everything needed is supplied on the disc, ie drawings, programs, tooling lists, photos, and video clips of each operation. The software also has a glossary for learning CNC codes and terminology.

WinCAM
A CAD/CAM programing system for turning and milling with integrated 3D simulation. WinCAM will output CNC code in ISO format directly from a basic CAD image and has the option of actually controlling and running a CNC machine, (PC 55 & PC 105 series only).

Licom AlphaCAM
A CAD/CAM programing system for any CNC machine tool such as turning, milling, routing, punching, engraving, laser cutting, water cutting, flame cutting and wire EDM. This is a very powerful package, but is so simple to use it is recommended for schools, and because AlphaCAM is so widely used in Industry, it is a necessity for colleges. Tutorial guide books are also available

SolidWorks 3D CAD
This software is a market leader in 3D CAD and is available to education at an extremely low price. SolidWorks is very userfriendly, though very powerful. As well as 3D solid modelling it will calculate material properties and animate working assemblies. All teaching material is available with SolidWorks including student workbook, teacher guide, overheads, and associated files.

CosmosWorks FEA
Cosmos runs fully embedded in Solidworks and will perform highly advanced stress analysis calculations and display the results with colour change.

Rapid Prototyping

Z-Corporation 3D Printer
This powder based 3D printer will print a solid 3D Component directly from your CAD file in minutes rather than days at a running cost of less than £1 per cubic inch. Because of the unique way the system works it is possible to produce fully moving assemblies in one printing operation. This unbelievable technology is now affordable for educational use and is proving to be a necessity.
